Fanfic: Girls' Job On Board-Part 2

A/N: Here you go! The part two of the lovely story my dear sister had emailed to me. There's some added parts, and a slight mature scene. I'll alert you from there on, deal? With no further nonsense from me, I present you this story. Enjoy!

—————————————

From where she was hiding, Eri was able to pick up the details of the control panel, Captain Alan’s body language and of course, his very thoughts. Just as she was finished observing the treacherous captain from her obscure little crook (which was amazingly close to where the captain was as a matter of fact), the door of the control room opened, sending a spray of light into the room, missing Eri’s figure by a mere inch.

She shot closer to the darker side, taken aback by the abrupt radiance of the sun so close to spoiling her whole job. She needed to know what Captain Alan was up to, or at least that’s what she was told to do anyway.

“Captain, the food supply of rum in our ship is starting to run out. Shipmates are realizing this and are beginning to feel restless. What shall we do?” the messenger reported, standing strict and stout in front of the Captain’s desk.

Captain Alan looked up from the panel, stared at the messenger with his ice-cold violet eyes and laced his fingers together. Slowly, a malicious grin curled on his lips and the words he spoke next shook Eri with wide-eyed horror.

“We’ll raid that useless Morgan’s Sirius and take as many supplies as we need. With those puny wimps defending that ship, we’ll be able to take all the supplies AND the women onboard that futile piece of wood. Don’t you agree?” Alan literally purred when he gave the command.

“Yes, Captain! I’ll set the men to work immediately! Brilliant as usual Captain!” the herald(another word for messenger) saluted with too much respect and stomped out the door, already shouting orders even before the door was fully closed behind him.

In the shadows, Eri was fuming with hatred and vengeful anger. (That just prove the point that Erinica IS related to Masaki.) Useless piece of wood? That’s definitely not the Sirius. Puny fighters? Has the idiotic captain not tasted the blade of Russell’s sword, the bullets of Eduardo’s guns, and the tip of her very own dagger? How could he insult the Sirius to that extent! No, she will not silently sit at the sidelines when this horrible plan is being prepared to be carried out.

Quietly, she slid Heart Slaughter, her dagger in the disguise of a hair-fastener, from her plait, releasing her hair from the tie-up. As her dark hair fell down over her face, covering her features except for one of her green-turquoise eyes, Eri slithered out of her hiding spot as fast as a snake and charged, dagger ready, straight at Captain Alan’s head.

***

For a split second, time seemed to spin in slow motion, capturing the moment where Eri’s dagger could be seen coming down from above Captain Alan’s head, the metal gleaming in the dark of the control room.

Unfortunately, Alan wasn’t as stupid as she had thought. He dodged out of the way and rolled onto the ground, quickly getting back up to his feet to face his attacker. His eyes were wide, stunned but not surprised; he had been expecting this for months. What really DID shock him was the sight of a sixteen year-old wielding a beautiful dagger so skillfully, her long raven black hair had obscured most of her face except for one of her emerald eyes-at the moment glinting with such malice, that he was taken aback himself.

Swiftly he composed himself, not wanting to appear frightened in front of his foe. His face twisted into something as expressionless as stone and with a curt tone, said; “Whatever are you doing here, little girl?”

The girl growled, and the sound of a threatening jaguar reached Alan’s ears. He raised a single eyebrow, hoping that it showed he didn’t care. Before he could react to that reply, she spoke;
“I demand you to leave the Sirius and all its inhabitants and supplies alone. I will never allow you to destroy or take any piece of property or human being from that ship…or else.” Her voice was crystal clear, confident and had a slight quiver of barely controllable pain towards it. She still had her dagger raised.

Alan took in the presence of the girl, her posture and her voice. He squinted for a little and while and questioned once again, this time with much more interest towards her reaction.
“Why should anyone stop me?”
“Give up Captain Alan, I – and everyone onboard the Sirius – would never let you raid our ship.” Her voice was starting to sound teasing, as if she knew what would come next. Alan liked this girl’s attitude.

Wordlessly, he lifted a finger and soon, two extremely ugly and burly pirates charged into the room and clamped their giant hands around both of Eri’s slender arms, preventing her from swinging the blade of her weapon at either at them. They didn’t bother taking the knife from her grasp.

Eri’s eyes filled with alarm, becoming conscious of her hopeless situation as she tried to compose her movements, for she knew the more she struggled, the tighter the iron grip would become. Eri was now completely still.

(Preparation for ahead!!)

With calm steps, Alan sauntered towards Eri’s constrained figure, menace glinting in his wild eyes.
When he was face to face with her, he put one finger on her forehead, flicking aside the black strands of hair that enclosed her face. When he looked closer at her face, he realized she was quiet an attractive girl, her skin like the surface of a pearl, her eyes bright and furious nonetheless, but still fine-looking against the dark shades of her silky hair.

Alan leaned into her face; until he was so close he could feel her breath on his cheek and slowly whispered in her ear.
“You’re going to listen to me now little girl, I won’t leave that precious ship of yours alone until I get what I want. But,” Alan could sense her quivering, terrified;” I can stop the whole plan with a lift of my finger if you are willing to negotiate with me.”
At a snail's pace, Alan moved his face towards the nape of Eri’s neck and gave it a tiny graze with his lips, taking in the mint-y smell that surrounded the girl. Almost immediately the girl stiffened, her skin went even paler than it already was. A sly smile appeared on Alan’s mouth, relishing on the fact that he had complete control over the trembling girl.

With his lips still on the soft skin of her neck, he pried the intricate dagger from the girl’s grasp and tossed it onto the floor, not very far, but far enough to make it impossible to snatch it back.
Suddenly, faced with the unpleasant prospect of not having her trusted weapon by her side, Eri’s tough figure dissolved into nothing but the figure of a petrified, lost little girl who has no clue of what she could do to save herself.

Alan, grinning at his victory flicked his hand, ordering the two burly men to let go of her and return to their duties outside. Understanding the command, the two shipmates marched out the door, closing it gently behind them without a second look.

When the door was shut, Alan pushed the defenseless girl towards the ground, pinning her with his right hand while his left stroked the side of her face, in a greedy, hungry manner.
“My, my, what a stunning little beauty you are. Pity you’re not on my ship, I do need some distraction from time-to-time. I wonder what Morgan would do if I took one of his women and made her mine.” Alan’s voice cooed gently in a teasing way, leaning down a centimeter closer to Eri’s face as he spoke.

“Why are you so silent all of a sudden, little kitten? Scared?” He planted his lips once again on her neck, this time, more firmly than before and kissed it rapaciously, over and over again.
Eri squirmed violently in his seize but only ended up even more vulnerable, for his hand held her down effortlessly, leaving her stranded in that position.
Alan’s attempts turned into something more intimate as he started to lick the nape of her neck, making his way up to her lips. When, his mouth met hers, he forced his tongue through the tightly-pressed together lips of the writhing girl, sucking her mouth so voraciously that she stopped trying to move altogether, because of the needle-like pain at her lips. Tears flowed droplet-by-droplet from her horrified eyes, yet her expression showed no emotion, just the icy tears flowing down her cheeks like shards of broken glass.

(Safe warnings are now off. Please continue ahead if you have skipped the 'mature' scene. Thank you for your cooperation.)

Alan’s free hand had already just started to sneak under her clothes when all of a sudden, the door of the room burst open and a frantic looking messenger yelled into the room; “ CAPTAIN! THE SIRIUS PIRATES HAVE ATTACKED THE SHIP! THE PLAN IS RUINED! WE NEED TO GET YOU OUT OF HER-“the stout pirate stopped abruptly in mid-sentence, falling to the ground with a sword stuck to his back, he was dead. Standing over the dead body was Russell, wielding his trusted sword in one hand.
Alan had stopped in his tracks and stared at the fresh corpse of his messenger, lying in front of him, a wide-eyed expression on the body’s face.

Before Alan had the time to get up and take out his own sword, Russell had taken in the situation and charged into the room tackling Alan and sending the captain off his feet and slamming into a wall at the far side of the room.

Hurriedly, but very gently, Russell picked up the trembling figure of Eri in his arms and snatched her dagger from the floor, putting it into his pocket for safekeeping.

Outside, chaos was raging. Masaki was fighting and killing many of the enemy pirates who tried to escape by jumping out into sea. Russell ignored all that and ran back to the small boat tied to the side of the ship. He had rowed quickly back to the ship, making known to the others that Eri was now safe onboard.

It took no more than a matter of a few minutes for the chaos to settle, leaving the injured and dead enemy pirates in the wake of the setting sun.

***

Back on the ship, when everything had settled down back to the way it was, Eri laid on her bed, her skin color returning to her face, the horror-struck expression slowly fading away and her tears were drying up. Her dagger was placed on the mini-stand beside her, sitting as innocently as a hair-clip in the design of a heart split into two, hence it’s given name.

Russell sat beside her on the bed, his hand soothingly caressing her hair as he stared down at her face with caring affection and worry. He leaned down and laid his tender lips on her forehead, closing his eyes and gripping at the existence of the girl he loved, so close to him for once in a lifetime. He withdrew himself from her and watched as her eyes slowly opened.

“Am I safe now?” her voice was barely a cracked whisper.

“Yes Eri, you’re safe now. No one can hurt you as long I’m here.” Russell delivered with full honesty, his hand had stopped from its stroking, knowing that Eri didn’t like the touch of other people on her skin.

But what she did next, surprised, but pleased him. Eri sat up abruptly and threw herself at him, her composure dissolving as she cried; every tear carrying sadness with it as they trickled down her face. Her arms gripped him so tightly Russell felt a little numb. But nonetheless, he tried to calm her down, patting her back gently, whispering soothing words into her ear as she cried and cried for the first time after a VERY long time in her life.

“It’s going to be okay Eri, everything’s okay now, you don’t have to do that job anymore Eri. No one’s going to make you go on a mission like that. Hush, Eri. Be calm now.”

Wordlessly, Eri let go of Russell, her eyes still flowing with silent tears that have been kept for so long in a bottle at the bottom of her heart. She looked up as he wiped away her remaining tears from her face with his delicate touch. Eri leaned her head in his palm and closed her eyes, absorbing the warmth of that hand that now held her.
With her eyes still closed, Eri felt the affectionate lips of Russell as he kissed her softly, carefully, taking care of her hurt emotions. Without a moment’s hesitation Eri kissed him back, suddenly unafraid of the consequences anymore. Because he was there, watching over her.

This was what Eri had dreamed of, an emotion that had never seemed to come to her, had arrived with open arms – Love.

(You may skip this next part, since this part is not part of the original. It's just some added scenes based on what happened back in Sirius when Eri was away.)

Ally was not liking this at all. Eri was never late, so what is holding her back? Could it be that Alan had discovered her?

"Ally...?"
Juliana laid her hands on said girl's shoulders. Ally was not the only one feeling anxious. Masaki could be seen arguing with Eduardo over her decision to head over to Alan's ship.

"I am going whether you're stopping me or not! Eri might be in danger! We have to save her!"

"And for the last time, no means NO! What if she's not in any harm?? Then won't we be blowing her cover? Try to think! And even if she is, she can protect herself just fine unlike you!"

Masaki glared at him, before turning and marching off into an opposite direction. Eduardo narrowed his eyes and yelled after his roommate.

"I don't care if you're going alone! Don't come crying when you're hurt!"

Masaki paused and spun around to shout back:
"Fine! Be that way! I rather die saving my sister rather than staying back here doing NOTHING like YOU!"

And she stormed off in search of one person who would help her- Russell.

Eduardo fumed, getting more angry at Masaki's stubbornness even when Christopher approached him with a disapproving frown.

"You shouldn't have spoke to her like that. Masaki have every right to be worried..."

"Yeah, but the thing with her is that she can't trust Erinica to finish her job! I mean, I trust Eri enough to the extent of letting her go out there and waiting here for her to return safely."

Christopher cast him another of his 'You'll-regret-your-words' look while he stared at Juliana consoling Ally.

"You might never know. After all, girls -including your roommate- have a female instinct that we men lack."

***

Masaki did not waste much of her breath. Russell, worried as he is, had already prepared a boat to infiltrate the ship Eri currently on. Both individuals made some last minute arrangements, Masaki getting extra medical aid and Russell placing their stuff into the boat, and then set off.

The only person who saw this was Eduardo. But thanks to the verbal conversation between him and Masaki, he chose to ignore the two and went back to his room to cool off.

'Female instinct. Idiocy is more likely.'

Upon arriving at Alan's ship, Russell quietly pulled Masaki closer and whispered into her ear:

"I'll look for her, just help me to clear the rest."

"Roger that. Let's go."

Scaling the ship like ninjas was Masaki' favourite part in infiltrating an enemy ship, but beating the living daylights out of the enemies is her top favourite thing to do. Masaki gleefully attacked everyone at sight while covering for Russell to go through.

"It's playtime! :D"

***

This was just not her day. Masaki thought as she watched the boat that carried Russell and Erinica heading back to 'The Sirius'. Witnessing her sister being carried out from Alan's cabin in Russell's arms had every alarm in her head ringing non-stop as her sister never let anybody (Exception being May, their mother, of course. May love to hug the two and shower much love and affection upon the two girls.) touch her. At closer inspection, she realised her sister was trembling. Nope, not from being touch.

It was fear in Erinica's eyes that stunned Masaki at the spot, in the middle of a fight with a couple of attackers. Masaki received a slash on her arm, the pain made her able to move again as she attacked even more vigorously than before. She yelled at Russell:

"Russell! Get my sister back to the ship now!"

Russell turned back and shouted a reply:
"What about you?! I can't leave you-"

"Just go! I'll be fine! Don't worry about me! My Sister's more important!"

Shooting a determined look at him, she reassured him once more:
"GO!"

And with that, Russell rowed the boat away from the chaos. Leaving Masaki single-handedly facing the menacing crew. She cracked her neck, eyes turning darker as she spoke:

"All of you have done a wonderful job at pissing me off, and you know what? I'm thinking of awarding you: Double of my pain."

She then unleashed a series of attacks at them, while she made her way to Alan's cabin. Boy, would the captain be pleased to see her now.

***

Back at 'the Sirius', the girls rushed to help Russell up the boat as he carried Erinica in his arms. Ally and Juliana helped Russell back into his shared room with Erinica, Meiko paused as she looked around in mild alarm and confusion:

"Er... Where's Masaki?"

Russell exited the room as soon as he entered, his face slightly grave as he spoke.

"She's back on Alan's ship."

All heads snapped towards Eduardo, some with alert expression as plain evidence as the first mate silently stepped towards the railings, hopping off and onto the boat before rowing away. Meiko let out a relieved sigh as she ushered Russell back into his own room.

"Go on. We can handle it. Go in and see to Erinica."

***

Alan slowly came to his senses at the same time when the door to the control room slammed open. He could barely move himself until he felt a pair of hands lifting him, to the point where he came face-to-face with none other than Masaki herself.

Masaki had the most serious facial expression in her whole 15 years of living. There was some splatter of blood on her face, some even on her hair and hair clip. He could see fresh blood streaming from her left arm, perhaps he could-

"What did you do to my sister?" Her question came out as a mere threatening statement, her eyes bore into his as she waited for answers.

"Your sister? She's related to you by your mother, ONLY. I don't see how's YOUR sister." Widened eyes proved Alan's words correct, those same eyes soon returned to its furious gaze that it held as before.

"Nevertheless, Eri is still MY sister -Actually, half-sister but still!- but YOU, my friend..." Masaki grinned maniacally at him as she continued. "...You are in a deep, DEEP trouble."

Alan gulped a lump that was as big as his fist down his throat.

***

Around the same time when Eduardo arrived at the ship, in utmost frenzy when he realise there were screams emitted from a room somewhere. He rushed towards it,

And was greeted with the sight of a smiling Masaki wiping off blood from her shirt whereas Alan was seen lying all bloodied and unconscious from the severe beatings by Eduardo's roommate.

"Oh! Eduardo! You wouldn't believe it! He (Alan) was such a wuss that he BEG me to kill him! And of course, me being such a kind hearted lady..." Eduardo scoffed and rolled his eyes, which Masaki had either ignore him or she was too happy to mention anything. "...I decided to aim 3 cm away from his vital organs instead and shower him with extra punches! Oh! Oh! I'm hungry! Let's go home!"

"..."

"Eh... Eduardo? Mr. Romeo-the-fantastically-so-happened-to-be-my-sister's-other-half-sibling?"

"Oh shut up."

And they both left the ship quite happy and satisfied.
